87 4runner New Header vibration?
So, heres the scoop. to start off i just did a complete rebuild. And i figured if im gonna rebuild cause of a spun rod bearing, why not BUILD it? So what i did was bored it .20 over had the block hot tanked, new freeze plugs of course. I also got a brand new street/rv head from enginebuilders with stainless oversize valves, 268 cam completely rebuilt the injectors. i dont seem to have much more power which is disappointing. But what can ya do?
Heres my main question.... I just put on a Hedman header today which i like the sound and it opened it up quite a bit. A lot of difference power wise. But my perdicament is now i have this weird vibration? im not sure if its because my pipe is so close to my transmission? (i did weld it up myself). its just really weird and im not sure if i like it much. you can also hear the exhaust a lot more at the motor. Normal for a header? I was just curious if anyone else had any problems such as this with a new header?

Of the course the noise will be much higher at the engine than the stock, cast iron mannifold. I didn't have any vibration or anything with my stainless LC Engineering header. Sounds like you either don't have something tight enough or you're header/exhaust is too close to something. The engines do vibrate and that movement will translate down into the exhaust piping.
