85 4runner

I just found a 85 4runner for sale w/ 189,00. From the pics it looks real clean. It's a 5speed w/ the solid front axle. My question is if any of the experts out there could give me some advice on some questions I should ask the seller specific to this make and model. Also based on what they are asking for it I will be left with a couple thousand to play around with. What are some the best bang for the buck upgrades?
