Is the 1993 Toyota V-6 good or bad in a daily driver trail rig?

So, I am thinking about buying a 1993 Toyota ext cab with a v6, but I have heard several good and bad things about that v6 engine. The truck has a new engine with 70,000 miles, and it is a sweet trail rig, but also a daily driver. Its a good price, but I need some help as far as wether buying a toyota with a v6 engine is worth it? I am a 22re person, and love the engine, but I need some freeway speeds, and I think a v6 will do it. let me know asap.

I'm not sure about the truck but in my 4runner if your not looking for a race car my 3.0 is a daily driver with about 100 miles per day and have 218,000 miles on it so you decide is it worth it. As for me I think so but when it does die i will me going 3.4 but your truck is a lot lighter so it make an even bigger difference with the 3.0.

don't get me wrong, i think olharleyman and i are saying the same thing: the 3.0 will take you a long ways. and in a pickup (my ex girlfriend had one, but i rolled it....) there is no issue with power. i love the 3.0 for around town cruising. and wheeling!!!
