Hard to find part.

Anyone know where I can find a throttle body linkage for a '94 pickup 22RE. The part I need is a small linkage that goes between the throttle body and the mechanism that accepts both the throttle cable and cruise control cable on a 22RE equipped with cruise control? Can't find any wrecking yards, and Toyota wants $90 for the small part.

It is specific to cruise control equipped models.

ew... ummm... ebay throttle body? wouldn't even have to be a good working one, just so long as it has that little linkage peice

No, you told me you had one, then I drove up there and it was a different linkage off of a 4 runner, so I picked up a cable mounting bracket for the intake off of a non-cruise model... but when I got home, I realized that the c/c model must use a different throttle cable, because mine is definitely too long for that setup.

...by the time I drive to a hundred wrecking yards, I could've just gone to Toyota, bent over and paid the $90 bucks for a new one... but they would also have to order it from God-knows-where!

Nix 99... really nice people to deal with, though!

Oic. Last I heard Mike had found the correct part on the intake, sorry bout that!

We have a throttle cable for a non-cruise 22RE if you need that too.....

toyota has some pretty silly prices on stuff, same with lexus. We called on a lower control arm for an SC400, and they wanted $900. $900!!!!!! That thing costs $20 to make, and they charge $900!!!

He thought it was the right part, but it was a linkage off a 4 runner, almost identical, but not the same.

I have a complete efi off a 91 truck about to sell it can u post a pic of that part I might have it.
