v6 or v8???

V8 has a timing belt, but it is not an interference engine. IIRC, the 2003 V6 came with a 4-speed auto transmission. I also think the early V6 had issues with valve noise.
I like my V8. The V6 might get a couple more mpg. I don't know why you don't care for full time 4wd -- it works seamlessly. |
