TRD Shock install on 09' Taco!

So, I bought a set of TRD bilstiens off ebay. Say's the will lift a stock(non TRD) Tacoma 2" but, I put the rears in and it seems the same? WTF?? The front's need a little more work. Have to replace the sway bar ball links too! Anybody do this swap? Any suggestions?

I dont see why stock bilsteins would lift a non trd truck. The two models of trucks sit the same as is. dont believe everything ebay says. Sorry. No real suggestions here.

They fit, just not sure if the lift will be what I'm looking for. It was a Toyota dealer selling them.

I didn't do the front's yet because I'm waiting for the sway bar links to come in. But, judging from the back the lift seems minimal. The fronts are adjustable. I just don't want the front of the truck up in the air and the back saggin'!

cheapest way to lift the back is either get some longer shackles or an add-a-leaf. But i still dont see why a stock bilstein would give you any lift..front or rear.

I see that now. Rethinking the whole thing. Going to look into a 2.5" Toytech lift kit. I do carry weight in the bed so, I'm thinking the add a leaf kit will work best.
