Tires rubbing need help!!!!
Ok so I have a 05 tacoma . I have donahoe coilovers . I am trying to fit 295/75-16 bfg a/t ko tires the stand 33.4 tall. I have wheelers 4" backspace wheels. The tire clears everything but the cab mount. I want to make these tires fit so I want to cut the cab mount so I can get more clearance. Im concerned that if I have the cab mount modified it will affect its integrity.
I posted on ttora but Im not getting the info I need. Here are some pics of where it rubs . http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/aljd54.../ph//my_photos |

no the close up picture is of the rear of the front wheelwell. the front is fine. The cab mount is where the cab mounts to the frame. I added some new pics of the cab mount.

Don't know if got this figured out yet but those tires are too big for that amount of lift. YOu can also try to adjust your caster out a few degrees. |

Doody is dead on.
You have way bigger issues than the body mount. The tires will travel upwards upon occasion, and they might even need to turn sometime... Either get smaller tires or get some lift. :pat:
