Recomendations on Suspension Shops in So Cal Area
Can anyone recommend a good suspension shop in the So Cal. area. I'm looking to install my Daystar Spacers on my 03 4runner. I'd appreciate any help.

Theres a great shop in the west valley called "BruceTS".
Biff, aren't you selling the 2WD? if so, doesn't make a whole lotta sense to put those in now, IMHO.

Victor: do you have xreas? I think so eh?
If all else fails, just rent all the tools and I'll give you a lending hand. As long as all the tools are present, it should be a relative easy install. (Now that 4route has given us a pretty good idea of what to expect). I'm sure others will show up to help out too.

Was considering selling, but changed my mind. Azusa would be nearest. Lance, if all else fails I will take you up on your offer and yes I do have XREAS.

i once went in there to ask some questions about a lift a long time ago. their customer service was nothing to write home about. not only that, i've heard bad things about that shop.
i got my suspension lift put on by a shop called Big John's. it's in canyon country, on camp plenty street. they seem to know their stuff and charged a reasonable price.
if i could do it all over again tho, i'd just host a wrenchathon with these helpful yotetech guys

Lance and Victor, the xreas thing is not as complex as everything has made it sound. I sent Victor a list of tools, so if you guys end up installing it together, just ask him for the list I sent (though I would recommend air tools at least for the spring compressor ... my forearms and wrists are still tired!).
You guys could get this done in a day or two if you did it yourselves. Tonight I had to undo all the work I had done on the first side because I found one of the washers I lost and needed to put it back on ... so I basically did a total uninstall and then reinstalled everything from the first step. But knowing how to pull out the strut by now and being used to the spring compressors, I was able to do all that in about 70 minutes total with a cookie break.
So, don't let my early stumblings discourage you. This was my first time dealing with the suspension, so there was a lot of learning involved. Also, the bolts are sooooo tight! anyway - if I were closer, I'd do the install with you, Victor, and we'd be able to finish it in one full day of working straight through. I'd expect the same amount of time if you and Lance worked together, because you both are more knowledeable than I am.
Despite my troubles in the beginning and with rounding that one nut, I would say that yes, this is a relatively easy installation. Especially if you are able to have a buddy helping. (even though my best friend offerend to come loosen the bolts with her teeth, i didn't ever get much help!) XREAS may make you be a little more careful, but in general you just lay the strut on its side and work from there and it's pretty simple from there.
