Model specific 4WD questions

Hey everyone..

I'm a 3rd Gen owner for 6 years, and I'm looking to get a 2006 4R. Is it me, or is the limited full time 4wd?

i havent looked it up recently so you could be right, but i think it may be that the V8 4runners are full time 4wd and i bet it's likely that the limiteds your looking at come with the V8s

V8 have full time 4wd only, V6 are selectable full time 4wd or 2wd. Has nothing to do with the trim level. You must be looking at a V8.

Ahh, ok. Which motor is better? I know the 4.0 is pretty sweet, but the iforce v8 is sweet too. I do tow sometimes, and do a lot of highway driving. My current 3.4 is gutless up past 3krpm, which really sucks when you're passing on the highway. It is bulletproof though.
