I need brakes and rotors. I was going to do everything myself, but the brake pad pins are so rusted out and everything else seems so rusted out that I just don't have the time.

I called Midas muffler - they said around $750 for installing new pads and rotors?

Anyone have a good reason why I shouldn't go that route.

Or should I use the above mentioned mechanic.

Thanks

John

buy the parts yourself cheaper, then have an independent shop install the parts. you will probably have to pay about $5 or $10 more per hour, but it is still cheaper than $750
