Looking at a 2006 4Runner

I'm a long time Toyota truck and SUV owner but I've never had one in this generation of 4Runners. I'm going to look at one tomorrow morning that has 176,000 miles, 2WD, and is cosmetically great condition. I'll find out more about the engine and drive train tomorrow when I check it out. What are some things I should look for specific to this gen of 4Runner?

My wife and I just bought a 2008 t4r for her as a replacement for her 2000. She loves it. It rides and drives great. The v6 has lots of power. I don't know what you should look for. I've heard the xreas system sucks. Don't know about that. It's a limited 4x4 , so a bit different. Great truck in my opinion.

Ended up buying it. With 175k on the OD I'm assuming some risk, but got it for about $1600 under current blue book for the model and options it has. Valve cover gasket leaks, but that's an easy repair. Everything else looked good and cosmetically it's in great shape except for some moderate chipping/flaking of the paint on the plastic front bumper. I paid $7800 -- a pretty solid deal for what I'm getting.
