4th gen rear spoiler?

Hey all,
Ive been looking over a lot of 4th gen 4runners on the internet. And i've come to liking the rear spoiler. I've found a few on the net without them. Do they have any performance effect on the truck or am i just being a weirdo likeing the spoiler? Idk which i should pick honestly lol.

Thanks!
Jeremy

it's pretty good on keeping snow off the rear window, other than that, all for the looks.
