4th gen Huskey floor mats

Does anymore have a picture of their 2003 with Huskey floormats installed.

Huskey now makes a cargo area mat for the 2nd shelf models, I'm thinking about getting it. While I was looking, I noticed that the 2nd seat mat in one piece and covers the hump, I like that idea. All the pictures are of other trucks and the few that show an '03 are just plain tiny.

I currently have the Toyota all weather mats... I'm happy with the front, but the back are rather smallish (they are the exact size of the carpeted mats. I am REALLY glad I bought the rubber mats.

Thanks.

I've looked around and they are all about the same price.

They ain't cheap... For one set of Husky mats, I got the front and rear Toyota ones.

The Toyota one do not suck, I got in the other day with red clay all over my shoes* and nothing got on the carpet. Though people keep asking why it came with rubber floor mats... I remember when every auto had rubber floormats.

*it was so bad, I got red clay in my speaker grill holes... Luckly it was the holes that don't go all the way through... Still working on getting it all out.

Post Husky floor mats

I just put a full set in '03 this weekend. They fit very well and do just what I was looking for: cover every square inch of floor space and "lip up" all the way around to keep dirt contained.

The front drivers side fit welll, even over the dead peddle. The rea is one full piece that extends over the hump and under the front seats. The fit is tight, but perfect. They really got the measurements right.

I also bought the rear cargo mat. I was unsure about it at first because the truck came with a smallish "Nifty" liner *and* because I have the double decker cargo option. THe Husky I bought was not made for the double decker setup, but since I keep it folded down all the time anyway it is not really an issue. Again the fit was excellent it covers every inch and even has cutouts for the cargo hooks. It is much larger than what came with the 'Runner.

The mats are pretty industrial looking, particulary in black. But they keep things underneath nice and clean.

I just bought husky liners (front, rear, and cargo) for my 98. I did some shopping around. Cabelas had the best price. I think I paid $195 with shipping for all 3. Performance wanted like $245. I'm not sure if Cabela's carries the 03 mats, but it would be worth a try.

uberdog- Where did you get yours and how much were they?

Thanks.

I haven't decided yet... I'm going to find out what the real difference is between the ones for the shelf. If the shelf one is smaller, then I will just get the non-shelf version.
I have never, once, used the shelf.

I think you can call cabela's and order via mfg's part number. Although they might not list it online they should be able to get the set for ya thru husky's part number system And as for the price, it should be the same.

AutoAnything.com for Husky mats

I bought my on autoanything.com for $200.00 delivered. Shipping was free, not sure if they are still offering that.

Anyway here is the link. The mats come in either Tan, Grey or Black: Husky Mats

Thanks uberdog.

I guess now I must order a set. I already have a "SURF" logo rear tray that is serving me well that I ordered from Toyota here.

Huasky mats vs. liners

Those pics are of the Husky mats, which made me think I should mention that what I bought (and supplied a link to) are the Husky "liners".

The difference being that the floor liners cover wall to wall, front to back and "lips up" all around (like tupperware). Looks like the floor mats are thicker and more substantial, but do not cover as much floor area.

uberdog,

Thanks for the link. I ordered the liners and they should be here in a week or so.

I sometimes need to launch my Jet Ski on the beach and need soemthing with a tray/lip to catch the sand/water when I jump back in ater pushing it out.

Sand and the Pacific Ocean/East China sea are powerful "off-road adventure" motivativators

the mats dont cover everything but they have about 1/2 inch slots to hold dirt water etc. The liners dont have these. Just something for thought. During the winter in my last vehicle the mats would freeze up cause they would collect so much water. I wish the mats were like an inch to 2 inches wider in the front. they would cover everything.
