Question Zuk mod help

I own a 1990 sr5 v6 4x4 and my back end sags. A friend of mine told me about this forum and the zuk mod to save time and money. He recently replaced his jeep with better shocks and whatnot and gave me the front shocks to do this mod. I am slightly confused on the modification after reading about it working with uncut shocks and cutting them. Will this work for my model? And if so will I need to cut them? Any help is greatly appreciated.

You need the coil springs, shocks don't lift. Do not cut a shock
Put zuk mod in the search bar and you will find tons of info

I get the words mixed up occasionally but that's what I meant. Springs. Its jus that there is so much mixed information it's hard to decide what is correct or not and mostly for older prerunners. I just want to be sure before I continue down this path.
