worth the cost?
found a 93 4 runner 3.0 5 speed for 3000 today 245xxx miles on the motor great oil clean motor and clean underneath it. 4x4 seems to work great everything good ac does not work but with 5 windows and a sunroof that can be fixed i think it just the blower motor. body has one ding on the back and needs a rear bumper.paint wouldnt hurt either its faded has 31 10.50s all terrains look new. havent check kbb wanted to here the opinions of those that have them first.... thanks yall

seems like an ok deal to me..i picked up the '92 in my sig for $1250..but i gotta rebuild it..shouldn't cost but about $700-$900....so im gonna say roughly $2000...for a 4runner that is worth an easy $4000-$5000 in my area..its in amazing condition other than that..lol

Compare with other trucks in similar condition on CL, that's the only way to tell. A truck here in Vancouver, Canada, is worth almost twice as much as an identical truck 100 miles to the South in Seattle.

For Georgia I would say 3K is pretty steep. Unless 2nd gen 4Runners with the 3.0 are hard to find or something. I personally would not pay that much for a 3.0 4Runner with 245K miles on it but I am just not a fan of the 3.0 because it is a gas hog and chews up head gaskets. That's just my opinion though after owning 3 of them in my life.
245K miles is alot of miles Toyota or not. But Toyota's reputation for reliability was built on the 22r series motor not the relatively short-lived 3VZE (which was only produced from 88-95)
I would think closer to 2K would be a better deal but I would still be hesitant. I would think you could find a much better deal on a 4Runner or truck of that particular vintage in Georgia. Where they really command a high price is out west and in Canada.
