Wiring Harness & Transmission/Transfer?
Alright so I'm building up my rig right now, you can sorta check it out here: (needs updating bad)

Anyways.. the engine is out and at the machinist right now so I'm working on other things. Right now I've got a problem figuring out the connections on my wiring harness for the transmission/transfer (R150). My rig used to be an automatic that has been transformed into a manual. Well the old wiring harness was a POS and had some ghetto wiring going on so I got a new wiring harness from jbm715 that looks to be in much better shape but as I've been looking over it the connections don't seem to completely match those of the Transfer Indicator Switch and Backup Switch from the tranny/transfer. Below are pics.

After looking at my FSM I'm pretty sure this is right, but correct me if I'm wrong. 1 = Speedometer, 2 = Transfer Indicator Switch, 3 = Backup Switch

Picture of 3, I think 2 is the same connection.. didn't get a close of up picture. Ignore the 'G'
If the above is correct I need help figuring out the wiring harness side.

Not sure what the rest of these are.. this is where the pros come in
So if pictures 2 and 3 are correct with that type of connection, why won't they connect to any of the connections on the wiring harness?
Pictures/Diagrams would be greatly appreciated if new switches are needed.

so the old harness plugged in but the new one does not... then i would say that its the wrong harness or when it got changed over they spliced in the connectors on the harness that was there i would look and see if they might of done that,

Well I think one of the connections was spliced and the other one was not connected at all. Actually the back up switch was spliced (but still didn't work) and the transfer indicator wasn't connected to anything. I was hoping it was because they used the wiring harness for an automatic transmission but not I'm thinking they are the same.
Pretty sure the wiring harness I bought is legit. Got if from jbm715 (a member here) that sells all sorts of used parts.
Anyways, do you know if the right sensors can be bought and replaced to fix this? Or do the connections even look right for a manual transmission wiring harness?

Took some other pics today for more detail. The more I look at this the more I'm thinking they are both for an automatic. If anyone else knows for sure PLEASE LET ME KNOW. If not I should be able to tell by looking at our old 90 4Runner on Sunday.

Transmission wiring
I too just got down with a well I'm no mechanic but an engine swap both exact same motor both 3.0 3VZ-E the only difference is one has the rods knocking the other is good the one im using of course I took out of my first runner well the body is in bad shape it's the way I bought for $500 ran like a champ after I fixed the spark plug problem the previous owner didn't know about recoilers I think that's what there called any way so I came across exactly like mine except motor was no good and it is a 4x4 and my first is only a 2wd I didn't swap trans "yet" as in if the 4x4 trans is no good I might as well turn it I to a 2wd so at any rate got the motor in and all runs and sounds like a champ without any instruments being connected yet I labeled every connector except they've collected more than enough grease during the swap I can't read them nor do I got enough connectors an trans to accommodate harness I kind of think what I have connected is correct except the one that if I'm correct that it's even a trans connector but comes from driver side at like the end point of harness with distributor/coil/alt./air filter housing wiring but it won't go I to hear it don't even sound like it's trying to go into any gears all you hear is the gear shifter moving the gear shifting lever any clues ideas anything would be greatly appreciated thanks and have a good day
