Windshield wiper link or Motor?

Ok first rain in a while and noticed that my w/w will go to the normal point at the top, but at the bottom they go all the way off of the windshield. When I turn them off they come to rest about 6-8" up from the bottom of the windshield. Could not see anything noticable wrong with the linkage, but I really don't know what I would be looking for since I have never worked on the windshield wipers. Is this the linkage or the motor?

Thanks,
T-BONE

Sounds like the linkage has sliped on the motor. The arm attached to the motor should be facing down when the wipers are home. Pull the wiper arms off before you change anything or you could scratch your hood.

So if the linkage has slipped what do I do to correct it?

Thanks,
T-BONE
