Windshield and trim ?s
After 14 years and one big chip in the windshield (got it fixed), I drove to OK for Xmas and came back with four new ones! Two, of which, happened within 10 minutes of each other X 10!!
So...a new windshield is in order.
PPG? Or?
I looked at the trim and noticed that the top rubber piece is now like plastic, but all the rest is still rubbery. Can I get that one piece?
It'll be nice to have new glass to look through, thats for sure!

but to add, if you want new gaskets, you absolutely have to watch them install it. as my friend requested the new gasket, and they didnt even have it on their truck.
started the work, and he noticed they were re-using his old cracking gasket, he came out, and had to point out the order for a new one.
after a little dispute, the installer had to go get one.

Having recently bought my truck, I noticed last week that the front glass is PPG and that it appears they reused the gaskets from the previous windshield (fit and finish does not look OEM at close inspection). I did not notice any rubber caulking at all, which is why I hope there is not water seeping into the window frame.
