Winch installation question - bullbar not suitable?

Hi!
I'm tying to make my truck a lot more fun!
It's virtually stock and not very good conditioned.

I plan on making it more fun.
Probably paint it blaze orange.

Now - Id like to install a winch (9000lbs).
My truck has a Bullbar installed but it doesn't seem to have anywhere to install a winch. It's just rolled pipe.

Is it possible to install one to this style Bullbar?
(photo attached). The driving lights have been removed. Failed wiring job. Going to replace with CREE LED driving lights

That bar is for looks only. If the factory didn't put a place on it to mount a winch then they didn't design it strong enough to support a winch. You'll rip that thing off the first time you use it (if not as soon as you put the weight of the winch on it).

Wow. Thanks! Good enough for me!
I'll start looking for a new (used) bar.

Thank for the help.

you might want to look into the Trail Gear winch plate if you're looking to just be able to get a winch on there without buying a full bumper at this time. you'll have to ditch the rest of the stock bumper, but it's inexpensive and a decent platform for making a bumper at a later date. just a thought.
