will someone take a picture?

Hey can someone do me a huge favor and take a picture of their injectors connectors and wires? I need 86 and 94 or multiple years if any one can, thanks. I have already done a goole search and got nothing definitive, would look at mine but my truck is not at my house and my brother wont be home till the end of the week for me to have him do it. Any help or direction is appreciated.

i can't take that pic for ya, but just in case this could help you, there's a diagram at lcengineering which shows the difference in the injector connectors: http://lcengineering.com/TechNotes/?techid=11

That helped a little but I am trying to see which socket goes to the 94 and if the wire colors are similar or if I can swap the heads to make 94 injectors work with my 86. Just wanna check ohm's and if theory and pracitce will match

86 injectors are low impedence (1.2-3.0 ohms) and require a resistor pack ( wired into the body harness on the passengers side inner fender). 94 injectors are high impedence (13.8 ohms) and do not require the resistor pack. They have different connectors for the wiring and if you try to run 94 injectors with an 86 ecu you will burn out the injector driver circuit in your ECU and you will have to get a new one.

What would happen if I run a 94 ecu and swap the wires or take out the resistor pack?

The pinouts for the 94 ECU will be different, the connectors that plug into the ECU will be different, the sensors are probably not the same especially the AFM. There would be major rewiring to get the 94 computer to work with an 86 harness. Why do you want to put in 94 injectors?

I was wanting to run higher flow injectors like ones venom makes... but I was put in touch with a local guy that will rebuild and make mine flow better for about $50.... should go great with my rv head supra afm 268 cam late model upper plenum and exhaust header

Then why not just put in low impedence injectors from a 5m-ge, 7m-ge, etc.
For example look at the table below:- stock 22-re injectors are 200 cc/min, 7m-ge are 295cc/min , a 4a-gze are 365 cc/min, etc. All are low impedence and all might be the same connector as your 22-re (Wiring Connector "E")

well if I decide to change them for new ones at a later time this will be helpful and I am glad that there are parts out there that kinda fall into junkyard mod status
