Who makes a good Torque converter?

I am probably going to put a new torque converter in my 87 4cyl 4runner this weekend. Does anyone know who makes a good aftermarket converter for these trucks?

I had mine rebuilt by a guy that does only that. He mostly builds for dragsters and mud racers. It cost $125 and he made it stronger than stock, which he called bullet proof. He's located in Conway, SC.

appreciate it guys, looks like I am going to get a rebuild. Those performance converters are a bit pricey...
