Who makes the best CV axle assembly??

Autozone seems to have the only lifetime warranty on reman's. However, the closest Autozone to me is 4 hours east. I would order one but they want a $50.00 core per axel and the reman's are $69.00. After shipping I dont think would save any money opposed to buying new CV's. What reman CV's are good??

If just your boots are ripped, you can get a new set of boots from toyota for about $30

i like the quality of NAPA's axles. Looked up the manufacture and thier site says they are OEM......

Anyways i like them and they have a nice pliable boot.

OEM "quality" does not mean "OEM"

NAPA cannot sell OEM axles with a license release from Toyota. They do not sell factory parts.

Doesnt the maker of the part actually determine who gets their parts? I.e. Lucas fuel injection systems were used on many a different autos--Lucas sold to them, not the other way around.

let's have some fun...
you order the shafts then pull the half-shafts out of your truck
then you go down with your shafts and hand them in thus no core charge
and you drive home and put the new shafts in.
autozone does not charge you shipping so get over that- they put the parts in with a normal truck going to replinish the store.
so...
what was the problem?

It looks as if there is really no problem at all. I was told Autozone would charge shipping and I listened instead of looked.
Thanks for the help! Autozone it is.

Something like $20/each, when I harvested 'em. Gotta catch 'em when they're running, though.
