geesh.

Well my brother works for the border patrol, and he tells me all the sneaky places people try to hide drugs... and how up their cars get when the border patrol and INS get into looking for it. I think its funny though, thinking you can carve out a niche to keep things hidden because 1. either they really dont suspect someone of anything and really dont look at all; a.k.a they have no legal right to even remove your cig.tray or cup holder and can only do what is called a visual search. Meaning they really cant even open compartments like the storage bins in the back.

or .

2. they get that feeling your skeesy and well they can dismantle your entire car. Same with local law enforcement, they bring that dog around and no matter where you hide it.. it gets a whiff off it. Remember, dogs smell about 100000000 times better then we do.. well at that point, the pull out the hammer and pry bars.

Also, as smart as you may think you are, they have seen it.. heard it and found it. The mexican's try some sneaky stuff, even going so far as to pulling the gas tank.. cutting it open and literally putting a person in it. So, now the INS and border patrol puts a light and a mirror down it.

i used to hide cigs and weed behind the speedo gauge. i had a type of a quick disco thing for the trim. the dogs at school would go absolutely crazy. so were the principals, all they could find was aspirin. . they once searched my truck right before school let out, and the bell rang. so i jumped in, started it up, took the trim off, pulled out a cig, lit it, and drove by em on their way back up. LOL. they never did figure out where it was.

We had one come into my dealership that was a tundra with the roll down rear window. They disabled the rear window and put screws in the track to hold it up all of the time, took out the window regulator, built a wooden box to hold their "supplies", and wired it to open and close when you pushed in the cig lighter and used the switch for the rear window. If you didnt push in the cig lighter, it wouldnt work (it was in series). It took us a little while to figure out how they had ran that. The feds that sent us the truck told us that if we found anything else, not to touch it and call them immediately.

I remember watching something on TV where someone was trying to smiggle drugs from Mexico. The dog picked up on it and there it was. A bunch of marijuana in the tires.
I bet that thing vibrated going down the road..

forget brass knuckles. i have a valid concealed carry permit and pack my glock 26 9mm loaded with hollow points and an extra mag. if that doesn't see me through, things are really bad.

as for stash spots, i couldn't agree more with GVOLCRunner.
