wheres my fuel filter
I was doing some routine maintenance on my 86 yota 22r and couldn't find the fuel filter anywhere. If any any one could help please. Also put some synthetic oil in the motor and she runs the best ever. Is there anything wrong with using synthetics in an older vehicle. What other maintenance needs to be done. also cleaned and lubed the hubs cause they wouldn't turn. Thanks Clint

The 1st thing I would suggest is getting a service manual. There are even free versions on the net. The manual will explain all general maintenance and what intervals thay should be performed at.
It will also show the location of the filter which is on the passenger side of the engine block. At least that's where it is on my 93. There is also an access panel in the fender well to make it a bit easier to get to.
