Where does your oil pressure needle sit at?

Just did an sr5 cluster swap and I am just curious where evryones oil pressure sits at. After being warmed up my needle sits about 1/8th inch below the 1st dash. While driving it sits at half.

That's exactly what mine has done for the last 14 years and 268,000 miles. I stopped worrying at about 87,000.

Mine will sit at pretty much zero while idling and about 1/4 while driving.

So, should I be worried that mine just started reading zero after my oil change an hour ago? It's running the same, new plugs and wires too. Do these gauges just stop working all of a sudden?

Did you switch oil brands or weight? Filter? If it was truly 0, you're engine wouldn't be running..

Nope. Same brand, same weight as before. Different filter though. Where is the sender located?

Huh. Nothing hanging, but I might have pulled on the wire a bit when changing the filter. Everything runs the same, so I'll just ignore it for now.

Thanks anyway.

These trucks are notorious for bad oil senders.

Just keep you oil changed and filled to the appropriate level, no worries
