Where Do You Mount Your Relay
for those of you running winches and driving lights, where do you mount your relays? i installed an auxiliary fuse box, and mounted it to the firewall in the engine compartment, and was wondering if i could mount the relays there as well. i am stupid when it comes to wiring and that sort of stuff, so i am trying to learn. i mounted 2 50 watt driving lights for backup lights today and the instructions said i didn't need a relay, but my 4 100 watt KC's will for sure..

I've got mine on the upper part of the firewall (engine side of where the cab air comes in). Works fine, just noisy because of the hallow space behind it
It works fine pretty much anywhere you wanna put it as long as its not insanely hot, or has exposure to a lot of water.

anywhere under the hood thats fairly protected works. if you are worried about gunk or water, some have a rubber boot on the bottom, or you can just use electrical tape up the wires and around the relay to seal it. i did that for the starter and fuel relays on my ramcharger since i cut out the inner fenders.
