http://www.marlincrawler.com/htm/diff/pickup_diff.htm

1/4 of the way down the page. You can buy a complete bolt in 3rd member with the 4:88s already installed, or just th egears. MARLIN is an awsome guy to do business with btw.

I recommend only Yukon or Precision gears. They are the best.

Precision Gear and USGear are the best.

Yukon gears are reboxed Precision, US, or Richmond gears.

Richmond and Motive are good.

People have had problems with Genuine Gear (mine have been working fine though). Their install kits are very good though.

Gear longevity is more about the setup than the gears IMHO. Great gears with a bad setup will break before cheap gears with a great setup.

Also, 89-95 models with automatic transmissions and 31" tires had 4.88 stock. You could get a front diff and rear third out of a junkyard and be good to go. NOTE: these 4.88 diffs have an offset pinion, and can not be regeared! So, that is only an option if you think 4.88's are going to be it for the rest of the truck's life.
