while driving home tonight, on wheel spacers Ive used for four years I took a curve on the highway and when I straitened ,I had a terrible shaking in my steering I pulled off the road and took a look and all but one of my wheel nuts had been sheered off the only one left was my ainti theft lock. very scarry !!!!

they need to be regularly checked. When I had mine, i retorqued them every oil change.

what kind of wheel spacers? I never liked the ones that just slide over the studs. There is a reason NHRA rules require the use of longer wheel studs if running spacers.

Wheel spacers should be installed on the wheel hub studs with red loctite and torqued once.

Then put your rims on the wheel spacer studs and torque as normal.

Then it sounds like someone either didn't tighten your lugnuts or was trying to help themselves to your tires and rims.
