Chances are if you don't know you should probably get help from someone who does. And in my opinion I say head gasket by a long shot.

Eh, you need to change the head gasket if you're doing an entire long block swap?

If you're not sure between the two, you're probably in over your head.

Just do the head gasket its not a bad job and there are plenty of write ups i've seen for most of the motors around here on the forum
