What transfer case goes behind the A340H

I have an A340H and I been trying to get a front driveshaft seal for it, apparently the parts stores have 4 different case numbers for a 94 automatic v6 4x4. I searched around here but I can only find charts for the manual trucks, anyone know how to check on the truck? I dont have a door tag or anything to look I just know I have a 340H

yeah thats absolutely true, but for some reason the auto parts stores SWEAR there are 4 cases for the 340h, I just bit the bullet and ordered it from Toyota, just going to have to wait a few days, I just was really anxious to put my solid trans mount in that I made and take care of the leak while i had the cross member out

No, there are no alternate transfer cases for the A340H. For the A340F you can put other trans cases behind it. But, not the A340H. The transfer case is integrated into the main trans both mechanically and in the hydraulic system. The only alternative for the A340H is to buy the Inchworm adapter which allows you remove most of the transfer case, cut down the output shaft, re-route the fluid coming from the trans, and bolt on a gear driven case or a doubler unit. This ends up being far longer than a doubler on a standard trans and causes crossmember issues.

What did you order?

I had to order a new output shaft seal for the front drive shaft, and I got a bunch of run arounds from autozone, napa etc so I just gave Toyota my vin and that was that

according to the 4x4wire site the a340F is found on vehicles with manual hubs and V6 models after '96 and the 1984-1999 22re and 22rte. Probably rare on the 22rte as the way I understand it is most rte's came with the R151F manual trans?
