dont know for 100% what toyota calls it, but its the part that idles up the truck, and can adjust the idle speed of when it idles up.

I knew it was for AC idle up, but when I called the dealer's service dept. they said....uh.....not sure what your talking about. And they had a picture of it right in front of them. They called it an Auxilary Air Valve, and wanted $220 for it. Yikes!
I'm trying to figure out if I can order just the white plastic screw, or do I have to order the complete assembly?
So I just need to know the exact name for the part so I can order it.

Thanks fellas!

im sure you cant just order the screw. However, any wrecking yard should have it, as it fits almost any Toyota up to 95 or so.

Of course you can't, that would be easy. I searched a couple of wrecking yards and didn't have any luck. But I guess I'll keep at it until I find one, or figure out what it's called.

It's not the flux capacitor, is it?

Well, actuator sounded pretty good to me, but, Oreilly's didn't know what it was. I'll try the dealer to see if they know anything. Then it's off to my favorite place in the world.......treasure hunting in the salvage yard!

I think you might have your answer already. But FWIW, I thought the Aux Air Valve is the part under the throttle body that works like a choke. It's got the two coolant lines feeding into it.
