What am I missing???
Confused, what exactly am I missing? Here is the deal, I'm doing an auto to manual swap. As I've never really payed much attention to manuals, I know I am missing some basic stuff. Here is what I have.
Tranny, clutch kit (disc, pressure plate, release bearing, and pilot bearing), clutch fork, shifter, and slave cylinder.
Also, how the heck does the shifter stay seated? Am I supposed to remove that plate and slide the shifter under it?
As I can tell, I am missing a fork boot. Something on the splines on the shaft of the tranny for clutch operation. And a bracket on the side of the front of the tranny to support the slave.
Pics....

the shifter is supposed to have a locking ring on it that you press down and turn.
There is no such thing as a "slave cylinder support" it bolts straight to the bell housing.
Assuming you only have the throwout bearing, there is a bracket that the throwout bearing goes on, and two small clips that attach the clutch fork to the throwout bearing bracket.
