Well MrArmyAnt is back in a Runner like he should be...
I bought my 4Runner for 1150 about two or three years ago. Sold it 3 months later for twice what I paid for it because I was like "ooh dollar signs!"
Dumb move.
I had a turbo yota truck project, a 1Ton CJ/CJ Hybrid, currently have a bobbed M35a2 (what a 13000 pound truck can run over is incredible everyone should try it at least 4 or 5 times.) My 07 Tundra was traded for a Cayman S leaving my high and dry without a really *usable* truck. After convincing my roommate to sell his crappy 2wd falling apart cherokee and buy a 1st gen 22re, I found myself a little 22rte gem.
Pictures will soon follow. We pick his up in Kansas early next week and I have to find someone with a truck big enough to pull my trailer to NOKC to get mine early next week as well and bring it back to Norman. He should be trolling on the forums now and is kind of new when it comes to autos. So be gentle...
Got a good deal on the 22rte. Felt like it had a lot of power. Drains oil like a sponge though. Not looking forward to that. Think I'm just going to load it with UV Dye, find the leak, fix the leak, change oil.
