water over the hood 'tick tick tick"
ok guys so this past weekend i went to the mud drags and went under water for just a sec my air filter was a little wet not bad but now i have a ticking noise at low idle but not always any ideas would help. thanks brent

Stay out of deep water if not prepared
the filter was wet, was there moisture any where after the filter? like in the carb? I would check your distributor and other ignition components. Sounds like you got lucky you did not hydrolock the engine--expensive learning experience.
Did you check the engine oil? also change the diff oil unless you already extended your breather, probably wanna grease the front hubs...
