Warn bumper help.
so i have a 1992 4runner that i just got back and did a 3.4 swap in it....it has a 3 inch body lift. my question is that do the warn bumpers bolt onto the same place as the facxtory bumpers or do you have to fabricate brackets? heres the bumper im talking about along with a picture of my 4runner because i just want to show it off:

I have the rockcrawler front bumper on my rig...
the supplied brackets are not intended for a body lifted truck, they will need to be modified or new brackets fabricated for it to bolt up without having a large gap between the bottom of your grill/ top of your bumper

with pretty much all the aftermarket bumpers that aren't custom-fabbed, they will not be supplied with brackets to compensate for a body lift. mainly, i'd say the reason is liability since lifting the bumper will change the ratings on the bumper due to changed geometry and multiplied leverage on the frame since they all bolt in place so Joe Blow can install them in his driveway. I would think a big company like WARN would have these ratings on their products, whereas most smaller companies don't bother due to cost and just classify them as "offroad only".
with a 3" lift on the front bumper, you're risking quite a bit if you plan to stick a winch inside or hit something with the bumper. what you're now experiencing is one of the many downsides to having a body lift on a rig.
i'd say you have to make some new mounting brackets and somehow brace the heck out of them to compensate for the significantly multiplied leverage it will be putting on the frame.
