Want to lift the 4runner!

Hi guys, ive been reading on hear for a while now. I know its been answered before but i cannot find the topics.

I have a 1990 toyota 4runner, 3.slow, stock, 5-speed. I have the opportunity to get a complete trailmaster lift, (minus the rear springs) for $250. Do you guys think that trailmaster is a decent brand? Its a 4" lift from a junkyard.

I also have the opportuninty to buy a 3" superlift setup for the front(i couldn't find any 3" superlift lifts though, so im thinking that the guy measured it wrong)

When i go off road, its not too hardcore, just some trails, some hills, puddles, snow, logging roads... etc. No rock crawling.

Is the trailmaster lift any good or should i wait for a different brand?

Before i thought about lifting it, i was thinking about just getting some 32X11.50's

I've read you can run 33 X 10.50's with out a lift and am thinking about doing that, i am planning on getting an aussie locker when it becomes avaliable i just want to run bigger tires for a little more clearance.

What do you guys recommend?

Thanks,
Mike

Either of those lifts would suit your needs fine. Even if the Superlift
is a 3" kit, you can still run 33x12.50. I'm not much in the coil spring
department seeing as I don't have them, but do a search and you should
find a wealth of information on that topic.

You might wanna also look into body lifts. Much cheaper, and you
achieve your goal without weakening the suspension.

The biggest tire I would personally run on a stock rig is 31x10.50
I realize that it is possible to go up to a 33x10.50, but I have to
believe that there is little room for them to move up and down in the
wheelwell.
