V6 heads & bottom end???
I read a post last week but can?t find it now? anyhow someone was saying that if you have the heads skimmed (on the V6) while the head gaskets are being replaced it can wreck the bottom end of the engine or "the bottom end often goes once the heads have been done", words to that effect.
Is there any truth in this?
I had my head gaskets done and the heads skimmed back in February and I would like to think that my engine has a lot of life left in it yet (engine has only done about 65k)

If you only have 65k miles you are probably alright. This problem occurs more on engines with more miles. What happens is you have a blown head gasket and then you fix that so you get your compression back. Then the bottom end can go because of the new increase in compression.

Well I had my complete top end done, and put about 12K on it since, do you think I might have a problem? If so, what can I do to keep a problem from happening if any?
