Any fit issues? And does it matter if it has come off an Auto locking hub truck (and going onto a manual locking truck?)
Donor truck is a 90 V6 Auto, recipient is an 86 manual 5 speed.
Have been reading a few other posts, but am still kind of confussed....

Hey is this Nick? I ordered the shocks a couple days ago from NSOR. Hopefully, I will have them changed up and ready by next week.
The third should work, the axle tubes will probably be different.

like anotherjeff said you need to make sure the gear ratios are the same before you put it in.
The 90 V6 had ADD and thus will have a different long side (drivers side). Unbolt the tube from the driver's side of the differential and change it with the one from you truck.
There are a couple small things you need to change over, but they are pretty obvious and you should be able to figure it out.

Yeah, I know about the ratios, I'm getting this one to make the switch to 4.59's a bit cheaper for me.
Cheers.
