Use 3rd gen crossover pipe on 3.0?

Use 3rd gen crossover pipe on 3.0?
So Im looking at my wifes 96 runner and thinking the crossover pipe from a 3rd gen might be usefull in solving the HG problem on my 95.
would need to cut and flip a couple of places, but might make it much easier for the guys at the muffler shop if I took them the factory 3rd gen Y pipe from where it bolts to the manifolds down to the cat.
anyone tried this?
are the flanges on the 3rd gen V-6 the same size and pattern as on a 3.0?
what about the exhaust manifolds?
will they bolt onto a 3.0 head?

On second thought - it actually might be easier if you just went to a wrecker who specialized in Toyota's and asked if he had an 3.0's and 3.4's that he's pulled, and ask to measure to see if things *might* work. etc.

I would do just thatif there was any around.
Gotta be someone on this board with both engines sitting around.
with them in the vehicle I havent been able to measure it.
