My manual doesn't say our trucks have one. Haynes manual says its right behind the heater controls. Supposedly its square???

Anyway, my friend has an 89 Toyota 4x4 w/ 22re...and we can't seem to find the blinker relay. He has been driving without blinkers for a week...and its not good.

Where is it? And do you have a picture? Thanks a bunch!

Basically the blinkers don't come on when he turns the blinker switch (name) up or down.

the flasher unit is located by the right hand side of the steering column

okay. We did get to look at one and my friend said that that wasn't it. He put it in and it didn't work. I'll talk to him and see what he says. Thanks!!!

Yes...they do work. It should be the signal relay right? My ranger did the same thing and I replaced it and worked just fine (same symptoms)
