turn signal relay

where is the turn signal flasher/relay on a 93 4runner ?. i have the dash apart and still dont see it.

According to the diagram it is left of the steering column, up under the dash, just below the combination meter.

i found the 4-way flasher at that spot. but not the turn signal.

check on my 90 truck and the 4-ways and turn sigals use the same flasher

isn't the 4-way the same as the turn signal?

yep, thats what i found on my 90. just got the turn signals working. checked all fuse's with test light and they showed good . went ahead and replaced the turn signal fuse and now they work .

Alldata shows the same flasher for both 4-way and turn signal, as does the wiring diagram. Why are you pulling it anyway? Turn signals not working? If the 4-ways work but turn still doesn't, then the flasher isn't your problem. Next thing to look at would be the fuse, bulbs, and the switch.

Edit: Just saw your new post. Keep a few extra fuses handy. If it blew a fuse once it is likely to do it again until the cause is found. Glad you got it working and good luck!

Technically, it's part of the integration relay. Which is behind the driver's side kick panel, as shown here...http://personal.utulsa.edu/~nathan-b.../4lighting.pdf
