trucks running and driving; now a new problem

So after the cat conv was stolen, I got the truck running. Now after making sure everuthong was correct, i have an extremely high idle and my battery light and brake light are on. i know the batt and brake light are alt related, but i cant for the life of me figure out the high idle.

Help please!

Is this new since the CAT was stolen?

What engine/transmission?

Have you checked for stored codes?

High idle could be a vacuum leak. How high?

It just started last night after driving up the street, drove fine the day before no cat. It's an 89 with a 22re and 5 sod. No stored codes and its about 2k constant is my guess
