Truck smokin?
Somethings up with my truck, I started it at quickshop, about five minutes from my house, and outta friggin nowhere a HUGE cloud of whitish/almost blueish smoke pours out and it idles like its flooded bad, I rev it up to stop the smoke, and even the idle out, and it evens out, it smokes like I poured a can of seafoam in it the whole way to my house, not far, the temperature spikes up and it runs fine.. But I cant tell what the problem is with the smoke, whether its oil or coolant, it didnt smell sweet, but its hard to tell in the dark with only a mag light, no coolant is gone from the radiator, not brownish in any way, and the oil is fine. What could it be? Please someone tell me its my carburator or my head gasket cause my Taco is getting a new 3.4 after 300K miles right now and I have nothin to drive, and gotta be to work at ten tomorrow... If its somethin serious I gotta sell the truck cause I cant afford this...

yup yup head gasket...how hard is it to replace?
Not hard get a head gasket kit, new head bolts, & new oil and coolant.
Oh yea you need to send your head to the machine shop so that gonna take some time and make sure you check your block with a straight edge.
You might be able to pick up a reman head that is ready to drop in that could save you some time.
I droppped a used good head on once it lasted for about a year so its a gamble at best but coudl save you time and money.
And if you have never done a head job read the book before you dismantle it is most likely gonna save you some heart ache.
Good luck buddy
