Warped rotors, if it pulls to one side or the other the calipers may be locking as well-check them too.

warped rotors, or the last time a brake job was done, they werent turned and machined, so basically yeah, warped rotors. also might want to check the rear drums, they may not be machined correctly or adjusted properly

Most likely culprit is warped rotors, but I'm dealing with the same issue and new rotors didn't do the trick... I replaced my rotors, pads, and calipers and still have a shake when braking. I couldn't tell if it was coming from the rear before the front brake job, but after the new front brakes it definitely feels like my shaking is coming from the rear. I'm going to do the rear brakes next (new wheel cylinders, shoes, and re-turn the drums) to see if that solves the problem. If that still doesn't do it I'll look in to the u-joints. For what's it's worth, my shaking can not be felt through the steering wheel or brake pedal.

Over torque and/or unequal torque of the lugnuts can cause the rotor to distort. Loosen and retorque your lugnuts.

Out-of-balance tire/wheels can cause harmonic vibrations. Rotate your tire/wheels.

Out of balance tire, or wheel, but most likely a warped rotor.
