Trouble shifting while wheeling
Having a little trouble with my 93 pickup v6 shifting while im wheeling. Yesterday I went wheeling and after about 20 mins of engaging and disengaging 4wd my shifting began getting worse. It would start grinding and getting difficult to put into gear. Once I was done having fun I hopped on the road and made my way back home and noticed the problems with shifting were gonna almost immediately.
Is this something with the clutch or tranny? I believe this is the stock clutch and am running MT90 in the tranny. Any ideas on what this could be?

have u checked the clutch to see is u might have a little air in the line and causing it too bind a little when u are going in and out so much. also where you going into 4lo or just 4hi? it could also be just binding up a little when going from 2wd to 4wd if u where still rolling when u did it,

so when u did try and shift did u push in the clutch and shift or come to a stop and shift? to check for air just have someone help and bleed the clutch a little and see if u get any air out the bleeder on the slave cylinder.

Yeah ill have to check on the fluid. Ill probably change it out since im guessing its at least 4+ years old.
I believe im shifting the tcase properly. If I remember correctly your suppose to change into 4hi going under 5mph then changing into 2hi going under 50mph which is what I was doing.
I wasnt always on level ground though. Does this make a difference?
