Trottle body question

I have a '91 pick up w/ 22re. I know that antifreeze flows in and out of the idle air control valve where it is bolted to the throttle body. But does it flow through the throttle body from that point? Any help would be great. Thanks!

Yes the coolant circulates in the throttle body. in and out it does not go into the air box

Here in eastern Pa because it doesn`t get real cold I have the coolant lines disconnected because of the high cost of a new AAV. needed to replace one that started to leak.
