transmission or clutch problems

whats up i got a 89 yoda 3vz 6 banger 4wheeler of course
anyways bought the truck from some guy and ive had to double clutch going into fourth an i was driving home from subway today about a half a block away from my place of residence i brought it out of fourth an it wouldnt go into any other gear, i pushed on the stick hard enough to get it into third but it wont go into or out of any gear now, wondering if its the clutch of tranny, an if its the tranny what can be done to fix it thanks

Check the clutch fluid level. If it's low or empty it could be the slave cylinder.

Start with simple possibilities--check the operation of the clutch master and slave cylinders. Is the clutch mechanism on the transmission being activated when you press the pedal down? You'll have plenty of time left to drop the transmission, if necessary.

definitely check your slave and master cylinder if one is bad replace both. the other one usually fails shortly after.
