Tranny Problem

Tranny Problem
I have a 93, 6 cylinder, 4wd, with 193000 on it. I bought it about a month ago. I had to do all kinds of work to it and have just one problem left. At times it seems to be pretty random the o/d light will start flashing (it dose this pretty frequently). When it dose its really hard for it to start going from a complete stop like its in 2 or something, when driving on the freeway the rpms would jump around and are slightly higher then normal.
So i checked the o/d light code. It shows code 62 solenoid 2. Before I go ahead and change it I have a few question.
So the solenoid is located in the tranny oil pan?
How do I know which one is solenoid 2?
Also I heard that to get to all the bolts of the oil pan I will need to pull the engine?
A mechanic was telling me that it might not be the solenoid. As far as he knows solenoids have different symptoms. Is he right? Could it be the the throttle body??
All your help will be greatly appreciated.

"So the solenoid is located in the tranny oil pan?" YES
"How do I know which one is solenoid 2?" TOWARD THE REAR OF THE VALVE BODY. HAS A BLACK WIRE ATTACHED TO IT.
"Also I heard that to get to all the bolts of the oil pan I will need to pull the engine?" NOPE

The arrow points to solenoid 2 on a A340F. I think you have a A340H which is very similar. You can't really see the wire, but there is a black wire that goes to solenoid 2.
