Ive got a manual trans out of a 92 sr5 4x4 4runner. Got a clutch kit for it but the clutch plate won't go on the spline shaft. It looks to me from the old clutch plate and the new that the teeth in the clutch plates are different. yet the alignment tool fits both. I can't find any tags on the tranny to figure out what it is. Got some pics. Any help is appreciated.

Looks like a R150f You sure they got you the right clutch? Does the clutch disc slip onto the front input shaft of the tranny?

Went back to the clutch shop and they seem to think its the right one. It won't slip on. You'd have to beat it on if you wanted it to work.
