yep check your distributor try spraying a bunch of WD40 in there, also check your TPS, clean out your AFM thuroughly, clean or longspark your plugs, when you installed the new O2S as long as you used the factory tube that covers the wire you should be fine, newer (since late 80's) 02 sensors draw their fresh oxygen through the hose that surrounds the signal wire so as long as it is still connected the water shouldn't pose an issue to it.

ok found the issue
seems like on 4runners the air intake comes right behind drivers headlight.. when 2 deer ran into me it took out the side lamp... so when i was in the hole coming up with sucked in water and must have got the AFM muddy.. now it runs ok but idles crappy.. cant i take the pins out and clean them with contact clebner or alcohol like electronics?? im already making a snorkel should be an easy fix...

cant believe how well the welded rear and 32 mud tires did... couldn't stop this beast till she choked.. even then she got me out of the hole on how ever many cylinder where working

Sounds like you bent a rod. You can use electrical contact cleaner on any electricals.

ya know, everytime i go through a mud hole it seems like i break something( steering gear, C-Vs, stuff like that) but when i go play in the sand or creep down a rocky trail im fine. Now i understand why so many people hate mud. dont get me wrong, its fun as hell to do but i think that im never going through mud ever again unless its between point A and point B with no other options. Just my new philosiphy

Pull the plugs and crank it over a few times, any water will come out. Change the oil NOW, just incase you sucked in any water.

Now i fired it up and it seems to be running alot better but idles crappy.. gave it the sea foam treatment... sure pissed off the locals....ok so now what??? my AFM checks out with my multimeter.. could the tp gotten crudded up with muck since i know it went into the throttle body??? im running on all cylinders again just a crappy idle....

also i can kinda of hear a vacum leak or something so maybe ill get some soapy water see if i can find a leak?
